The Leadership Roundtable is pleased to announce the development of Standards for Excellence: An Ethics and Accountability Code for Catholic Dioceses, Parishes and Nonprofits

The Standards for Excellence code contains eight guiding principles and fifty-five specific standards that provide detailed performance benchmarks in the areas of governance, ministry program operations, human resources, financial management and fundraising.

The Standards for Excellence program is currently being piloted in dioceses, parishes and Catholic nonprofits across the country.  The Standards for Excellence codes will be published in November 2007.  The Leadership Roundtable is dedicated to helping dioceses, parishes and nonprofits to implement the codes and provides educational resources and training to assist in complying with the performance indicators outlined in the Standards.

For more information on the Standards for Excellence program please visit www.nlrcm.org/standards or email Michael Brough at Standards@nlrcm.org.
